After 12 years of sterling service between them, 2 of our long-standing Moose volunteers have decided to retire from active duty.
Joe joined in 2010 and helped at Inchview care home where he set up Skype calls to France and Ireland, as well as dealing with all sorts of requests for information from the Internet. He also featured in the film about the Moose project made for the Scottish Older People’s Assembly which can be seen on our website. We wish him well and will miss him.
Storyteller and tea dispenser, John has decided to hang up his teapot after 6 years with Moose at Drumbrae care home. His ability to keep the tea and chat going with residents will be sorely missed.
Thanks very much indeed to them both!
