On Monday 5 March 2012 Oaklands in Morningside Edinburgh, was the latest care home to welcome the Moose in the Hoose project!
Several residents were keen to learn about the Internet and find out what the computer can do to help them keep in touch with friends and family.
By the end of the session several email accounts had been created and one lady was looking forward to giving her son her email address already printed out. Everyone finished with tea and biscuits over which the ice was well and truly broken, in true Moose style!
Terry Blair, Manager of the Moose Project said, “It is great to see the Moose project becoming part of another care home in Edinburgh. We know from experience residents and volunteers will soon become friends and enjoy using the computer equipment to discover more about their interests and bring families close together.”
