The Moose in the Hoose project needs to train volunteers to help older people living in care homes access the benefits of computer technology by using Skype, emails, and making life story books to provide stimulation. There is an important social aspect to the project and volunteers need to genuinely enjoy the company of older people as well as having basic computer skills. After training we feel volunteers will get the most out of the experience if they are able to stay for a year if possible. The (free) training will be on a Monday afternoon.
